Our West is Whiskey


A brand book years in the making

To commemorate Westland’s 10-year anniversary, we published a book that presented the brand's origin story, its major milestones, and outlined its principles and initiatives. The book outlined and demonstrated the brand's underlying ideas, showing how Westland had pursued them and lived its brand story through its actions and products. The book presents the idea of American Single Malt Whiskey as a new frontier waiting to be explored, then outlines the systematic process of exploring that frontier, through process, partnerships, and production, and how the products serve as proof of concept of its work.  

Showcasing more than a decade of work, of both Westland Distillery and 51 Eggs, through the course of over 230 pages, the book stands as the most comprehensive document of what Westland had accomplished to date, what it took to develop the brand, and how the product and company lived up to the ideals of the brand’s mission.
